Can ChatGPT read your website?
When somebody asks an assistant for a business like yours, it names two or three it can describe with confidence. It cannot describe one it has never been allowed to read. This checks whether yours is on the list, in about two seconds.

A robots file is only the polite line
Cloudflare and similar services can block crawlers before they ever reach your robots file, and that cannot be proved from outside without being the crawler. Since July 2025 Cloudflare has done it by default on new accounts, with no notification. If you are behind it, the setting is under Security, then Bots.
